9.10- 12.00

On Monday to Thursday our first session of the day has a phonic focus. Here the children learn how to read new sounds and practise writing them in common words. Afterwards, the children have Literacy or Numeracy input which is linked to our termly topics. During this time the children have the opportunity to work with an adult as well as independently. The learning takes place both inside and in our outdoor learning environment. We have a short break for milk and fruit before swapping over.

On Friday we have a Golden Assembly to celebrate the children’s achievements with the school. Afterwards, the children engage in child-initiated learning and practise the skills they have been developing during the week.
